Neale Taylor has over 40 years technical, operating and commercial experience in oil and gas exploration and production, planning and evaluation, acquisition and joint venture management with Esso, Nexus Energy, Cambrian Oil & Gas and Xtract Oil (oil shale). He was a non executive director of the South Australian Government-owned Terra Gas Trader until it was privatised. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Peter Stickland has over 20 years global experience in oil and gas exploration. Before joining Tap in 2005, Peter had a successful career with BHP Billiton including a range of technical and management roles. He has an excellent track record of finding oil and gas and identifying quality prospective acreage. Peter was instrumental in designing and implementing Tap's strategy for expansion into SE Asia. In February 2007 Peter was appointed Deputy CEO of Tap Oil and became CEO in January 2008. In February 2009, Peter was appointed Managing Director of Tap Oil. Peter is a member of the Board of Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association Limited and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Peter Lane is a petroleum geologist with some 40 years experience in oil exploration in Australia, Canada and Papua New Guinea. He has managed a number of successful exploration and production companies including Vamgas N.L., Reef Oil N.L., and Basin Oil N.L., and has conducted his own consulting business for the past 20 years. Peter is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Mike Sandy is a geologist with over 30 years experience in the resources industry; with the past 24 years focused on oil and gas. He has worked for various oil and gas companies, including senior executive roles with Oil Search and Novus Petroleum during the last 15 years. Mr Sandy brings with him a wide mix of commercial and technical skills and experience which complement the skills of the other Board members of Tap.
Doug Bailey is an accountant with over 30 years experience in the resources industry. He is a former CEO and Managing Director of Ashton Mining Limited and a former CFO of Woodside Petroleum Limited. He is experienced in all commercial aspects of resource company financing, project development, acquisitions and administration. He is presently also a non executive director of St Barbara Limited.
Matthew Worner practised as a solicitor specialising in corporate law prior to joining Tap in August 2006. He is responsible for the Company’s legal and company secretarial duties, and has extensive corporate, legal and governance experience.
